About Green Mining
Green Mining was founded by Sascha Grumbach and Valentine Pleser, two people who had experienced the dark side of the crypto world firsthand. Together they lost over CHF 250,000 through opaque cloud mining providers, scams and insolvencies. Instead of giving up, they drew a simple conclusion:
If the solution doesn't exist, then we'll build it ourselves.
Today Green Mining (formerly Green Mining DAO) is the brand of GM Data Centers AG, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland. Under the Green Mining brand we build Bitcoin mining infrastructure based on renewable energy, starting with 100% hydropower in Paraguay. The GM3 facility is operated by a subsidiary of GM3 Technologies AG, the issuer of the GM3 tokenized shares.

We combine Bitcoin mining with renewable energy. The data centers run on 100% hydropower and are technically designed so that their waste heat can be used to dry fruit. Site selection, hardware, energy contracts and operations are handled by Green Mining itself.
